A Renovation You Can Bank On
New Branch Location Build-Out
This 2,100 SF renovation project was competitively bid by and awarded to
Schaefer. The existing structure was a partial shell following a fire that had
destroyed the inside and caused structural damage to the building. The
roof framing and two of the existing four walls had to be removed and rebuilt
along with additional structural and foundation work prior to the interior build-
out of the bank could begin.
The project required coordination with the architect and structural engineer,
as well as the owner’s team, to create a space that would meet their needs.
Interior renovations included creating new offices, teller line, breakroom, IT
Room, and customer lobby with high-end finishes and custom woodwork
throughout. Exterior renovations included new storefront windows and
entrance, new roofing, new drive lanes with a concrete island for an ITM
(Interactive Teller Machine).
New sidewalks, sealing, and striping of the parking lot, new landscaping, and
site lighting. Schaefer collaborated with equipment vendors on the
installation of specialized banking equipment, safety and security equipment, and protocols.
