Homeplace at Midway
The Homeplace at Midway is proud to call itself Kentucky’s first and only Green House® home. The Green House® model for senior living is designed to make a residence look and feel just like home, complete with all the comforts home provides.
A Christian Care Community, The Homeplace is unlike any Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living or Memory Care communities that you’ve seen. The overall design captures the essence of a real home, concentrating on architecture, layouts and interiors that feel like home and provide comfort.
The Homeplace consists of four, cozy cottages centered around lush, green gardens and beautiful landscaping and pathways. Each cottage hosts 12 residents, allowing for flexibility while maintaining the warmth of small gatherings. Every adult enjoys the privacy of his or her own bedroom and private bath, but other areas of the cottage are shared — just like a real home. The living room and hearth, dining room and kitchen create the heart at the center of each home where residents and staff can gather for freshly prepared, family-style meals or enjoy each other’s company at their leisure.
Design-build combines the design, permit and construction schedules in order to streamline the traditional construction environment. By using this approach, we provide maximum project accountability for all phases of the building process and give the client added security.
When serving as a general contractor, we engage a large number of skilled craftsmen by competitively bidding subcontractors for any applicable trades. Collaboration is vital to everything we do, and we approach projects as a partner to the design team and the project owner.
