Airline Reporting Corporation
Taking Flight in a Refreshed, Modern Commercial Space
The design-build project included a single floor, phased demolition and renovation of a 19,818SF commercial office building.
Complete demolition of the vacant area for phase 1 included flooring, finishes, walls, HVAC infrastructure and ductwork, and sprinkler system. The architectural design and detailed finishes were contextual to mimic an airplane interior. Open, floating ceiling concepts resembling aisles and overhead compartments bring everything together. The three-compartment conference room resembles an airport terminal with advanced technology including electronic projector screens, operable wall partitions, and data control panels to operate devices.
Phases 2 and 3 is the renovation of occupied areas, duplicating design elements and technological features in Phase 1. It incorporates a break area/pantry similar to an airport bar or restaurant, along with 2 meeting areas (specialty ceiling similar to clouds), and new reception area that captures the feel of an airline check-in area.
