Project Manager
Project Manager Position Description, Daily Responsibilities & Job Requirements:
- Work with clients through the design-build process
- Compile accurate cost estimates
- Track job costs and forecast remaining costs through completion
- Monthly pay requests
- Contract Administration
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Manage superintendent and sub-contractors through project completion
- Submit and track submittals and RFIs
- Project Close-Out
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years commercial construction experience in similar position
- Strong interpersonal skills and a solid ability to estimate and execute construction and renovation projects
- Thorough knowledge of commercial construction costs, methods and implementation
- Proficient in reading and understanding architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
- Computer skills in Microsoft “Office” products and Microsoft “Project”
- Familiar with project management and estimating software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks & projects
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Availability for periodic travel to out-of-state projects
