Project Manager

Project Manager Position Description, Daily Responsibilities & Job Requirements:

  • Work with clients through the design-build process
  • Compile accurate cost estimates
  • Track job costs and forecast remaining costs through completion
  • Monthly pay requests
  • Contract Administration
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Manage superintendent and sub-contractors through project completion
  • Submit and track submittals and RFIs
  • Project Close-Out

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years commercial construction experience in similar position
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a solid ability to estimate and execute construction and renovation projects
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial construction costs, methods and implementation
  • Proficient in reading and understanding architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
  • Computer skills in Microsoft “Office” products and Microsoft “Project”
  • Familiar with project management and estimating software
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks & projects
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Availability for periodic travel to out-of-state projects
